Galloping COLTT brings you: Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, & Photoshop Workshops – April 3rd

 

These sessions gave a taste of what is to come for COLTT 2013.

 

Adobe InDesign – Publishing for Mobile Devices

10:00-10:50 - Norlin Library, E113

  • Audience: Gain a greater understanding in the digital publishing workflow and learn how to create mobile apps using InDesign. Topic best suited for those with previous InDesign experience. In this 50-minute presentation you will learn how to use your existing InDesign skills to create interactive digital publications that can be delivered as an App.
  • Scott Trudeau, Adobe Solutions Consultant, will demonstrate how to integrate video, audio, and interactivity into your publication and explain how to publish your digital project to the iTunes, Android, and Kindle stores.

Adobe Acrobat Pro XI – Digital Forms and Interactive Documents

11:00-11:50 - Norlin Library, E113

  • Audience: Faculty, staff, and students wishing to learn more about creating digital forms, interactive PDFs, and new Acrobat Pro XI workflows.
  • In this 50-minute presentation, an Adobe Solutions Consultant will explain how to use some of the great new tools in Adobe Acrobat XI. Topics include digitally signing documents, combining and converting digital documents, and new digital form workflows.

Photoshop CS6 – De-Mystify Photo Editing

1:00-3:00 - Norlin Library, E260

  • Audience: Faculty, staff, and students wishing to gain a greater understanding of digital imaging, video editing, and image.
  • In this 2-hour hands-on workshop participants will learn how to use Photoshop CS6 to quickly correct, blur, and create amazing photo effects. We will also build a short video using Photoshop’s new video editing technologies.
