Abstract: David Paul of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus shares how his team captures and streams student’s labs and lectures to be viewable through the student’s LMS. David’s team leverages the Panopto streaming platform which allows them to record and view searchable video presentations in minutes from any device.  In this presentation, David will demonstrate the functionality of this system which his program has used since 2008 and will share the success stories since the initial deployment. 

Bio: David Paul is Manager of Educational Technology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. He has managed numerous successful technology rollouts, including the campus online evaluation system, audience response (clickers) and lecture capture (Panopto). Always on the lookout for new ways to apply technology in the classroom, David is a strong advocate for Chromebooks and Google Apps for Education and is very excited about potential these products hold for classroom collaboration and platform independence.
